Mother Lode Defensible Space is a local lead-matching website that connects Sierra foothill homeowners with independent licensed contractors for defensible space and related work. We are not CAL FIRE and not a construction contractor.

Information we collect

When you submit a form, we may collect: name, phone, email, property address, town, county, lot size, work requested, insurance/inspection flags, deadlines, budget, timeline, and how you found us. Contractor interest forms may include company name, license number, and service area.

How we use it

To match homeowners with local contractors and share the request so they can provide quotes
To contact contractors about lead purchases
To improve the service and respond to inquiries

Sharing

Homeowner requests are shared only with participating local contractors who have joined Mother Lode Defensible Space, so they can quote your job. We do not sell personal information to data brokers or anyone else. Service providers that host this site, its forms, or email (for example Netlify and Google) may process data on our behalf.

Calls and texts

If you check the consent box, you agree we and up to two matched contractors may contact you by phone or text about your request, including autodialed messages. You can opt out by replying STOP to a text or asking us/the contractor to stop calling.

California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents may request to know, delete, or correct personal information we hold, subject to legal exceptions. Contact us at mcgreevybrian2-mxvr13@mail.grokbot.com to make a request.

Children

This service is not directed at children under 13.
